Proxies for SwitchyOmega

Switch FlameProxies IPs per site, per tab or per rule from inside SwitchyOmega.

SwitchyOmega and FlameProxies

SwitchyOmega exists so you do not have to reconfigure a proxy every time your work changes context. It holds several connections at once and decides which one a request should take.

Add your FlameProxies credentials as profiles in it and switching country or session type becomes a click or a rule - one profile on a sticky ISP address for logged-in work, another on rotating residential for research, and a direct connection for everything local.

How to set up FlameProxies with SwitchyOmega

  1. 1

Pick a plan and open the generator

Create a FlameProxies account, choose residential, static ISP, datacenter, IPv6 or mobile bandwidth, then open the proxy generator in your dashboard.

  2. 2

    Generate the proxies you need

Select a country (and city where the pool supports it), choose rotating or sticky sessions, and copy the list. Every line comes back as proxy.flameproxies.com:8989:username:password, which is all the fields below ask for.

  3. 3

Add a FlameProxies profile in SwitchyOmega

Create a proxy profile with protocol HTTP or SOCKS5, server proxy.flameproxies.com, port 8989, and the username and password from your generated line. Name it after the country or session type so profiles stay easy to tell apart.

  4. 4

Set the rules that pick it

Assign the profile to the sites or tabs that should use it and leave the rest on a direct connection. Add a second profile when you need a different country or a rotating pool alongside the first.

  5. 5

Confirm the exit IP before you work

Run the proxy test inside SwitchyOmega if it has one, then load an IP lookup page through the connection. The country and ISP it reports should match what you generated - if it shows your own address, the traffic is not going through the proxy yet.

Frequently asked questions

Which proxy type should I use with SwitchyOmega?

Residential IPs are the safe default when a site scores how trustworthy your connection looks. Static ISP proxies suit long-lived logins that should keep the same address, and datacenter proxies are the cheapest option for targets that do not push back.

Which protocols and authentication methods are supported?

HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with username and password authentication or IP whitelisting. Any tool that accepts a standard proxy string will accept FlameProxies.

Can I keep the same IP across a session?

Yes. Generate sticky sessions when you need an address to persist, or rotating proxies when you want a new IP per request. Both are options in the same generator.

How is bandwidth billed?

Plans are pay-as-you-go: you buy bandwidth up front, use it at your own pace, and it does not expire. There is no monthly contract to cancel.
